ETSIN & 3D Plant Seed

One of the main reasons for which it was thought in the development of this "Tour ETSIN" is to advertise our school simply by relying on a visual language.

In a world where distances are shorter and shorter due to Internet, was imperative that the schools had used in environments like Google Earth , which was developed for the 3D model of the Centre and enriched with added images through Panoramio , establishing a point starting to increase our presence on these platforms, as both environments are open to input from anyone on the Internet.

After opening this door, the possibilities offered by these platforms are huge, allowing to explore new ways to publicize our school and what it offers.

Think of all those who are considering the possibility of pursuing their studies away from home. Ideally for them if they could travel to each of the places where they could pursue their studies leading to graduation, and can thus have a first-person contact before making a momentous decision like what I want to study and where, a decision that will make their future career and with it his life project.

Through this blog we provide all of these potential students, the possibility of bringing the center to their homes via the Internet, showing something as important as the place where they will spend long hours of study and training.

From each photograph albums the user can access the relevant section of our Web Institucional, so the idea can be summarized in this simple analogy shown in the diagram you see below:

An additional element that we have built through of this Blog, is the ability to make virtual visits to the Center by using technology that provides Dassault Systems on its Web 3DVIA and displaying three dimensional models of final projects switches made by students that have allowed us to use their 3D models to be shown on the internet.

These developments fall within the project have called 3D-Seed , a project which aims to establish the basis for promoting a "Culture 3D" in the Centre through an open approach to the Internet.

Finally, I meet to end the cycle of "Maccaferri: The First Modern "by sharing with you the five short we did for the exhibition that did Florencio Compte, Ricardo Bohorquez and myself, about life and work of Italian architect who planted the architecture and Modernism in Guayaquil.

The City exhibition at the event was a bust. Thank you all!

Two fellows the ETSIN, Maria del Carmen and Miguel Angel Domínguez Baldasano Beneitez are the authors of this 3D modeling under the supervision of webmaster.navales.

This model was developed during the course 2009-2010 and for its creation were used the following tools:

- 3D Modeler buildings
Google - Google SketchUp : the free version
- Google Earth : Necessary to place the model
- Rhinoceros

The model can be seen on Google Earth is just one of the 3D representations that have been developed in our center.

There is another more accurate 3D model created with Rhinoceros from the ETSIN planes and a 3D model of each floor of the center.

The

objectives of this three-dimensional modeling of the Center are many, but we highlight the following:

- Have a 3D model for virtual visits to the center
- Submit a three-dimensional environment various locations
Center - Provide a new access road to the school and the details of the web instiucional from an interactive view of our facilities.
